Introducing…Dr. Carli Grimbleby
Adobe Veterinary Center is growing! We have brought on a new Large Animal Veterinarian. We are very excited for the knowledge and experience that she will be bringing to our Adobe. Here is a little bit about Dr. Grimbleby…
She grew up in the agriculturally rich Central Valley of California. It was here that she started riding and showing on the English Hunter/Jumper circuit. Later, she attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA and received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. While in undergrad Dr. Grimbleby worked with both horses and livestock and pursued her love of traveling by studying abroad in Spain.
Dr. Grimbleby attended vet school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. While in school she had the privilege of being on rotations all over the country working with both horses and livestock. One of her rotations was in Italy, working with horses running in the Il Palio horse race in historic Siena, Italy.
Animals have always been an important part of her life. Dr. Grimbleby has a horse named Pik Aree, a dog named Bailey, and a tortoise named Mr. T. She is always up for an adventure, but loves spending time with family and friends as well. She enjoys traveling both in the U.S. and abroad. In her free time she enjoys hiking, playing with her dog, riding her horse, and spending time with her adorable niece and nephew. Her parents and an older and younger brother still live in the Central Valley with their families.
Dr. Grimbleby’s professional interests include surgery, equine reproduction, internal medicine and client education.
