Neil

Chief Financial Officer

Neil Staten has been a part of Adobe Veterinary Center since day one and has played an important role in helping build and support the practice behind the scenes. As CFO, Neil oversees the financial side of the business and works closely with the team to help keep the practice running smoothly and growing for the future.

Neil is married to Dr. Staten, and together they have five children and eight grandchildren. Outside of Adobe, Neil enjoys spending time with his family and working on projects in his car shop. He takes pride in being part of both the Adobe family and his own growing family.

Sandy

Receptionist

Sandy has been a valued member of Adobe Veterinary Center for eight years, serving as our friendly and welcoming receptionist. Her love for animals shines through in every interaction, and she especially enjoys hearing clients share stories about their pets. Before joining Adobe, Sandy owned and operated a boarding stable, giving her a wealth of experience in animal care and a deep appreciation for the bond between pets and their families. Outside of work, Sandy’s passions include horses, all animals, and an unexpected hobby—collecting fossils and rocks. Her unique background and enthusiasm make her an integral part of our team.

Susan

Receptionist

Susan brings 16 years of veterinary experience to Adobe Veterinary Center, a practice she first grew to love as a client. Her passion for animal welfare began while volunteering at the Humane Society, and she later spent a decade as a youth ministry coordinator—a role that refined the communication and leadership skills she uses today to support our clients and staff. Susan is dedicated to advocating for pet parents and ensuring every patient receives compassionate, transparent care.

At home, Susan enjoys life with her husband of 20 years and her “unicorn mix” dog, Harper, who surprisingly has the personality of a cat. When she isn’t at the front desk or greeting patients, you can find her singing in her church choir or working on home improvement projects.

Dana

Certified Veterinary Technician

Dana is a native Tucsonan who comes from deep Southern Arizona cowboy roots. She graduated from the Pima Community College Veterinary Technician program in 2008. She has a son who use to ride bulls and is now working towards becoming a rodeo clown. She has her horses in Sonoita and has a dog named Cleetus who loves nothing more than when she’s home to love on him. Dana loves being a large animal technician because her passion is working with and providing quality medical care to all livestock, which she gets to do every day at Adobe.

Nina

Lead Small Animal Technician

Nina and her son Kaiden are natives of Tucson who enjoy the quiet atmosphere along with her pets Jessie (cockapoo), Bella (mini poodle), Tink (bichon fries), and her dole of turtles and tortoises. When she isn’t caring for her family and pets, she enjoys spending her time gardening. Nina was pleased to start her time with Adobe in the Pet Resort because of her life long love of animals. After spending a year as coordinator of the Pet Resort, she agreed to accept a position in reception as she strives to provide the best care for all the pets she can.

Jenifer

Receptionist

Jenifer has been a receptionist at Adobe Veterinary Center for three years, where her enthusiasm for learning and love for animals make her a wonderful part of our team. She enjoys gaining new experiences and expanding her knowledge while being surrounded by pets every day. Currently attending Pima Community College, Jenifer is grateful for the many opportunities Adobe has offered and the warm welcome she received when joining the team.

Outside of work, Jenifer has a wide range of interests and talents. Fun fact: she played basketball for seven years, flag football for two, participated in theater for four, danced for four, and even played the violin for three years!

Deanna

Large Animal Technician

Deanna Dedmon serves as a Large Animal Vet Tech at Adobe Veterinary Center, fulfilling a dream she has held since she was 15 years old. Inspired by a longtime family friend who shared her veterinary experiences and taught her about equine medicine, Deanna’s passion for animal care was also sparked at a young age by her father, who always had her help tend to their horses’ needs. She has spent the last four years working in veterinary medicine, starting her journey as a technician assistant at Adobe before transitioning into her current role as a technician. Deanna, who learned everything she knows directly from the Adobe team, loves working alongside her kind colleagues, helping clients, and providing exceptional animal care. Her main responsibilities include assisting large animal doctors with scheduled appointments, emergencies, and anesthesia, with patient care and surgical support being her favorite parts of the day.

Outside of work, Deanna enjoys spending time with her family, working with her horses, and gardening. Her home is filled with a lively mix of pets, including a sweet Quarter Horse named Phoenix; Duke, a Corgi who loves to lay flat on his back with his paws in the air; Atom, a domestic shorthair cat who plays fetch; and Lily, another sweet domestic shorthair who absolutely adores Deanna’s husband. A fun fact that people might be surprised to learn about Deanna is that she used to play the violin in middle school.

Angela M.

Large Animal Technician

Angela joined Adobe Veterinary Center in 2025 and brings a strong foundation in horsemanship and a passion for expanding her veterinary knowledge. She studied at Miracle Mountain Ranch School of Discipleship, majoring in Horsemanship, and is a CHA‑certified horsemanship instructor.

At Adobe, Angela assists our large animal doctors both in the field and in the clinic, supports patient care, and helps prepare for appointments. She enjoys meeting the many clients and animals she encounters each day and values the opportunity to learn more about livestock treatment and care.

Outside of work, Angela spends her time with her three animals—Checkbook, her butterfly‑disliking horse; Paleface, her peppermint‑loving mustang; and Ryder, her ball‑obsessed Border Collie. She also enjoys riding, hiking, playing musical instruments, writing stories, and pyrography.

A fun fact: Angela is a trained classical soprano soloist and has traveled to five countries. Originally from South Florida, she now calls Arizona home.

Gabriella

Receptionist

Meet Gabriella, a receptionist at Adobe Veterinary Center who brings five years of veterinary experience and a passion for organization to the front desk. A recent cum laude graduate from the University of Arizona, she holds an honors B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing and has even published her thesis. Gabriella accepted her position to continue work she enjoys while building skills for a future master’s program in mental health, where she hopes to eventually incorporate animal therapy. At the clinic, she keeps operations running smoothly by greeting clients, scheduling, handling billing, and updating patient records. She particularly loves the “in the zone” repetitive tasks, organizing and color-coding data, seeing cute animals, and working alongside her best friend.

Outside of work, Gabriella reads about 75 books a year, knows American Sign Language, and is learning Korean. Her hobbies include hiking, video games, k-pop, Magic the Gathering, and trivia nights at Scented Leaf. At home, she manages a wonderfully unique crew of pets: two standard donkeys named Kylo and Kenobi; two Border Collie mixes named Vader James and Rey Finley; a bath-fearing Chihuahua named Yoda; and a vocal black tabby named Berlioz Blue.

Madison

Large Animal Technician

Madison Webb serves as a Large Animal Veterinary Technician at Adobe Veterinary Center, bringing a lifelong passion for animals and a deep appreciation for the western lifestyle to her role. After earning her Associate of Applied Science in Biotechnology with a concentration in Animal Science from Des Moines Area Community College, Madison recently relocated from Iowa to begin her veterinary career. With a little under a year of experience in the field, she thrives on growing her knowledge of horses and learning something new every day. Her main responsibilities at the clinic include assisting veterinarians through appointments—handling tasks from holding horses to drawing blood—as well as starting and writing records, logging drugs, and keeping the trucks and treatment bays fully restocked and organized. While she loves patient care and checking in disbuds, her absolute favorite task is assisting with gastroscopies.

Outside of the clinic, Madison embraces the summer season and stays busy with a variety of active hobbies. She runs her own photography business focusing on western lifestyle photos, and she loves spending her days off paddle boarding, practicing yoga, baking, golfing, or hiking with her two dogs, a blue heeler mix named June and an Australian kelpie mix named Mia. When it is time to unwind, you can find her listening to artists like Benjamin Todd, Dave Stamey, and Johnny Cash, watching Dances With Wolves, or enjoying a peach ring lotus drink, strawberries, or Chinese takeout.
